Strength of Materials

Strength of materials is the scientific area of applied mechanics for the study of the strength of engineering materials and their mechanical behavior in general (such as stress, deformation, strain and stress-strain relations). Strength is considered in terms of compressive strength, tensile strength, and shear strength, namely the limit states of compressive stress, tensile stress and shear stress respectively.

If in any case there are discrepancies between the records of the students found in the link page and the original copy of the records from the instructor, the latter prevails during the computation of the final grades.

The students are strongly encouraged to inquire about their marks/scores if they find faults in them.
